INTERNATIONAL BROTHERHOOD OF ELECTRICAL WORKERS

VINC PERRY-ELLIS MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP FUND

This is the announcement of the IBEW, Local Union 111 Vinc Perry-Ellis Scholarship.  There will be six (6) scholarships of $1,500 each for active members and for children or spouses of active members.  Retired Members (Grandparents), who now find themselves raising a grandchild in their home, have been included for eligibility of the Vinc Perry-Ellis Scholarship, and must meet outlined criteria (Members' dependents must be at least graduating high school seniors). 

There will also be two (2) scholarships for active Traffic Signal Apprentices and two (2) scholarships for active Apprentices in the WCJATC, due to a very generous contribution made on behalf of Brother Frank Harshman, who passed away.  The Local Union Executive Board approved to increase the awards from six (6) to ten (10).  Therefore, the Traffic Signal Apprentices and the WCJATC Apprentices will be included and eligible to submit essays for consideration.
