David L. Williams, of Lafayette, Colorado, passed away peacefully at his home

on January 7, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

David was a proud member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers(IBEW) for 38 years and served as the President of Local Union 111 for 12years. His dedication to his trade and his union family was unwavering, and his leadership left a lasting impact.

David is survived by his beloved wife, Carren Williams; his sons, Matt and Charles; his daughters, Joy, Amy, and Molly; and his cherished grandchildren, Sarah, Maliek, and TaySean.

He was an extraordinary individual known for his generosity and kind heart—always willing to help anyone in need, often literally giving the shirt off his back. David also had a remarkable sense of humor that brought joy to those around him. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

David’s celebration of life will be held on Thursday, May 8th, from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m.

at IBEW, Local Union 111, 5965 E 39th Ave, Denver, Colorado, 80207.

David’s legacy of love, laughter, and service will forever remain in the hearts of his family, friends, and all those he touched throughout his life.
